This print is based on an oil painting dated between 1820 and 1861 by the Dutch painter Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os (1782-1861). In 1809 he won the first prize of the Felix Meritis society in Amsterdam for a watercolor of a still life, after which he mainly devoted himself to this. The storage box in both a classic and modern interior fits perfectly.
