A Laqueprint is a new technique developed and produced in the Netherlands in which an image is manually draped over sanded and brushed scaffolding wood.
Due to the manually lacquered high-gloss finish and the subtle passage of the image over the edges, the result is almost indistinguishable from a real painting.
Hang up or put down
Each Laqueprint can easily stand independently due to the thickness of 3 cm, but you can also hang it easily thanks to the handy recessed hanging system.
The quality, the structure of the wood and high gloss make every image a special jewel on the wall or on the cupboard.
An original Laqueprint is unique and made by hand in the Netherlands. Colour, structure, size or weight may therefore differ slightly.
Laquet prints are not suitable for hanging outside in the rain or full sun. Under a shelter is no problem at all.
100% PEFC certified wood is used. PEFC means that the wood has been obtained in a responsible and sustainable manner.
The inks used are Greenguard certified and therefore free from harmful substances.
All images applied to Laqueprint belong to the “Public Domain” or have been obtained with express permission.
Laquer prints are reproduced in the most natural way possible.
In this way, the story behind the work of art remains as intact as possible, offering the opportunity to enjoy our National and International cultural heritage at home in a way that is accessible to everyone.
