Sustainability

"Takoda is an innovative technological start-up, where ethical, social and circular corporate responsibility are the main pillars.
Where supply and demand meet in the middle, provided sustainable by means of labels on our green marketplace.
A sustainable platform as a means to contribute to a better world with more inclusivity.
Where we work together for a better planet and you always make a responsible choice at takoda.
In this way, little by little, making our planet more fun by taking more happiness, greenery and health as the core starting point."

We strive for a 100% sustainable and environmentally conscious company, by partnering with production companies that operate certified sustainable.

100% Natural Materials because we believe in the feeling and quality of natural materials, we as human beings are purely natural and that works better together.

We believe in and are convinced of the story and feeling that a natural product has, such as cotton, silk, wool, leather and cashmere if produced sustainably with an eye for the environment, which is ebbing away with chemical and synthetic materials.

For each product it is indicated which quality marks it has.

We take it as a goal, we are not there yet but it is our focus as much as possible wherever we can.

So the very best in materials, textiles and in the management of the company where the people work.

So that it always remains a win-win.

We do our best to strive for fair tariffs and trade.

Think of 100% organic cotton and recycled materials.

We prefer and love to choose handmade with craftmanship where possible.

Organic 100 Content Standard Takoda Recycle

In addition, we are attracted to traditional and handmade work where you feel the love, with an eye for detail.

For example with a velvet or satin weaving technique.

Think of certificates such as:

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) was developed by leading standard setters to define world-wide recognised requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS provide a credible assurance to the consumer.
