Our organic black lentils are known in India as 'Urad'. Washed and canned in Baddi North India.

ORIGIN
Our Organic Black Lentils come from a small region around the UNESCO town of Khajuraho, in Northern India. The ancient round mountains and hills of the Vindhya Mountains provide the ideal climate for growing Lentils. Known locally as 'Dal'.



ORIGINALS
In the town of Baddi, the black lentils are cooked and canned. They are not boiled, so that their firm bite is preserved in your kitchen.

With this versatile legume you can make a Thai Curry or eat it cold in a salad.
